CTET Notification September Online Apply 2016 Eligibility www.ctet.nic.in

It’s a time be cheerful and feel pleasant to the aspirants who were badly waiting for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) and wanted to start their profession as a Teacher. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi is going to conduct Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) which is 10th Edition. Written test will be going to be held on 18th Sep 2016 (Sunday).  Apart from this test; applicant to be entitled to employment as a teacher for classes I to VIII. 11th Edition of CTET will be conducted in February 2017. The test is essential to start applicant’s career as a government teacher in govt. schools as per the guidelines framed by NCTE.

Educational Requirement

For Classes I-V (Primary Stage):

Applicant must pass Senior Secondary exam or corresponding exam with the minimum of 50% marks. Also have passed or appearing applicant perusing 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education and in their final year.

OR having at least 45% marks in 12th or equivalent and passed or appearing applicant perusing 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education and in their final year, in accordance with the NCTE Regulations, 2002.

OR 12th pass or its equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing applicant perusing their final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR having at least 45% marks in 12th or equivalent with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing applicant in the final year of  2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR in their final year of Graduation and passed it in two years Diploma in Elementary Education.

For Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage):

Applicant has accomplished their graduation or in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR Applicant has at least 50% marks in their graduation degree and perusing their graduation in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR Graduate with at least 45% marks. Appearing applicant can also apply for 1-year B.Ed. program in accordance with the NCTE regulations.

OR Applicant who has passed Senior Secondary or its corresponding exam with the minimum of 50% marks. Appearing applicant who is in their in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR 12th pass with no less than 50% marks and appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed.course.

OR Graduation degree with as a minimum 50% marks or appearing applicant in the final year in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Registration Fee:

The applicant can credit their registration fee amount through Challan deposited in CBSE Account in nearest branch of Syndicate Bank or HDFC Bank in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. The fee can also be deposited using Debit or Credit card.

  • Paper I or Paper II: Rs 600/- for Unreserved or OBC Applicant and Rs 300/- for SC/ST and disabled applicants.
  • Paper I and II both: Rs 1000/- for open (General) category or OBC Applicant and Rs 500/- for SC/ST and disabled applicants.

Procedure to apply online:

Applicants have to apply using CTET website. One has to state all essential details and upload their scanned pictures of snap & signature. One has to keep a copy of form and payment receipt after payment for their future record purpose.
